In a cataract procedure, the crystalline lens is removed. Through this intervention, your eye is going to miss 4 of the 5 visual functions. An artificial lens is implanted, restoring the visual functions. The right picture shows Optimal, Natural Vision, once all 5 visual functions are existent.
